Adelaide is a bundle of fun and laughs who can bring a beaming smile and a giggle to any role. Adelaide’s first on-camera acting experience was channeling her own interpretation of Matt Smith’s “Doctor Who” incarnation manifesting as a hologrammatic 7 year old girl in IMMATERIAL, a fan film made for YouTube. She is entirely at home as a presenter and is undefeated at being chosen to represent her school year in regional public speaking. Adelaide takes drama classes and her passions are in acting, presenting, singing and dancing. She has performed in the ensembles of OLIVER! with the Eastwood Uniting Church Musical Society and SCROOGE! with the Normanhurst Uniting Church Musical Society, where she demonstrated her maturity by being invited to join the cast despite being 2 years under their regular minimum age. When not performing or at school, Adelaide likes to play the saxophone, create her own videos or just find ways to make everyone around her laugh.

Amy Rose Tustian
Age: 15
Amy is a talented natural presenter and performer who is particularly comfortable in front of an audience. Amy’s experience includes stealing the show at the age of 10 as a comic speaker in the Black Stump Festival’s annual Comedy Debate, delivering her own 6 minute routine to argue against the topic “Youth is Wasted on the Young” in front of a packed festival crowd. She is the only child speaker in the 20 year history of that annual show. Amy has represented her school every year as the champion public speaker of her grade, and went on to win the grand final on three out four attempts (and was runner up the other time). Amy enjoys drama and attends classes at two different drama schools throughout the week. She has performed in the children’s ensemble of OLIVER! with the Eastwood Uniting Church Musical Society and as Kathy Cratchit in SCROOGE! with the Normanhurst Uniting Church Musical Society. She hopes, one day, to appear in a show that has no exclamation mark in the title. She also appeared in the central role of Holly in IMMATERIAL, a made-for-YouTube Doctor Who fan film. When not acting, presenting or entertaining herself through singing, Amy plays the flute and attempts (unsuccessfully) to talk her parents into letting her get a pet pig.

Asha Harvey
Age: 14
Asha Harvey has been around the lights, camera and action of studios from the day she was born. This has let her develop into a refreshingly unaffected performer, who innately understands the job of the actor, artist or presenter and realises that such a person is just one small part of the team that creates any production. There is not one hint of the prima donna about her! She listens very carefully to direction and responds precisely as requested, demonstrating patience and perseverance well beyond her years, especially when a shoot takes longer than expected or requires repeated takes. In one recent TVC, Asha was required to appear underwater in a swimming pool after first jumping in on queue with her co-actors. It was a big production and required dozens of takes from every angle. Despite several hours of underwater shooting – Asha took it all in her stride, despite the constant cold and re-setting of each shot. Asha has a great sense of humour and loves to put on funny voices and silly characters just as soon as she feels comfortable around new people. She is a very articulate kid and an excellent sight reader who is also very good at committing a script to memory. She is fit and outdoorsy as well – a good swimmer, sprinter, cyclist and skier, she is also very adventurous.
ASHER BEGBIE
Age: 12
As soon as he could recognize his reflection Asher would practice facial expressions on all things glossy, don various super hero outfits to preschool, and wore odd shoes for his early primary school years. He loves being entertaining.
He also loves drawing, playing minecraft, with his pet dogs and chooks, and he throws a mean frisbee. He wants to be an actor when he grows up with ‘candy-making’ as his back-up job. He has an independent streak in him that sees him love to try things his own way first before stepping on to the well-trodden path. He spends much of his time trying to make people laugh, and much of his time succeeding.
Asher has appeared in an online series and various plays for his school and his extra-curricular acting class.
